I don’t really talk about fashion
even though I love dressing myself up.
I just think,
it’s a lot more fun to actually dress up
rather than
to talk about fashion.
Well, but you know…
I have time today and I don’t have
anybody to play a fashion show with,
so I think I will talk a little bit about it.

I found this blouse today
and I HAD TO GET IT.
It has super big puffy sleeves
AND
flower prints with black back ground.
…and that means PERFECT for me.

I really love funnel sleeves
(bell sleeves and angel sleeves as well.)
…and when I see those,
it’s very difficult for me
to not get it.
Especially when it comes with
psychedelic patterns or flower patterns.
New ones are okay
but if I find a vintage one,
that means that is MINE!!
(…kidding, but I will get it
as long as my Mr.wallet allows.)

…by the way,
the shirt above isn’t quite
an angel sleeves.
It’s full length puffed sleeves
but it still got that
drapey look that gets bigger
as it goes towards the wrist.
The little knitted cardigan
is from Thailand.
An older lady was selling it
at a night market so I got it.
It’s nice to have, at least, one thing that is
hand made when you wear
something that is mass-produced.

This is another favorite of mine.
I found this at a used clothes shop
in Seattle 2 years ago.
I love how wide the sleeves get.
It’s a little too hot to wear
but I am very excited to wear this again.
This shirt makes me
want to go partying.
Although I will wear it
even if I have to work all day.

I love the color and the print
of this dress.
Again, it’s flower pattern
but have you noticed,
all three, so far, have different
ways of depicting flowers?
I really enjoy wearing different types
of flower patterns because
I can always find the one that fits my mood.

The cardigan has that vintage-look
but it’s actually not.
This one, I also found it at a used clothes shop
in Seattle about the same time
I got that 60s-ish shirt above.
The cardigan is all embroidered (?)
with beads so it’s rather heavy
but hey,
if you want to enjoy FASHION
a little bit of discomfort is expected.
At least, it is for me
and I know many others agree.
*snickers*
It’s also made of silk
so it makes me feel a little bit
special when I wear it.
Here again,
it’s my rule.
When I wear cheap stuff,
at least one item has to be
GRADE A quality.
In other words,
I hate hate hate
covering up myself with name brands!!

Here is another flower patterns I like.
…and here is another rule of mine
when I decide what to wear.
Always mix different type of textures.
Wearing only one type of texture
makes the style look cheap and flat (naturally)
but when you mix textures,
even a cheap item would start
to look like a fine piece of item.

Alright,
I think I said enough for now.
Thank you for listening. Hehe.

Love!!
