I have this CANON EOS 700
which used to belong to my dad when I was little.
I used to use it when I was in high school and
it actually takes a pretty good photos
(…and of course it does…it’s made for a beginner, apparently.)

So, I was digging underneath my bed today
to see what I could find in there…
and I found 80-200mm zoom lens for it. FUN.

I think I will satisfy my cravings for a vintage camera
with this Canon, especially now that I found another lens.
Only until I save up enough money to buy
a vintage manual camera.
(Don’t ask me when I am going to have
‘enough money’…because my first priority is to
save up enough to go back to the States. )
…and what can I say, I still get to enjoy
that satisfying shutter sound and the weight of a film camera.
Another thing that is kind of cool about this camera is that
you get to flip the dial to change the mode.
(It’s kind of difficult to describe so
I think you should go to the link and see what
I mean by flipping the dial.)
One side has those icons you see on many of the
digital cameras these days.
(portrait, indoor, sports, sunny day etc etc…)
Another side is to manually pick a shutter speed.
I think I will use that side and not use the icons.

…and one of the things I found out about this camera is that
it was only sold between 1990-1991.
What a sad model!!!
Now, I really feel like I should love this
poor little camera.
